Ready Hindi Movie Review

Salman Khan and Asin starer Ready, a remake of the Telugu hit of the same title 'Ready' which had Ram and Genelia D' Souza is gearing up for the release on the 3rd of June.

Ready Telugu movie was also made in Tamil as Uthamaputhiran with Dhanush and Genelia in the lead.

Ready has many interesting stories behind its making, that it has generated a lot of attention among Sallu's fans, right from the announcement of teh movie to the final completion.

Ready has been a movie which is Salman Khan's big release post the success of his last year's magnanimous film Dabangg.

As a luck factor Salman Khan portrays a stint of Chulbul Pandey in Ready's song dance steps and is said to be a fan of the super cool cop in this film for his characterization.

'Character Dheela' ? song which is like a tribute by Salman Khan to yesteryear actors like Raj Kapoor from Shree 420, Dilip Kumar from Mughal-e-Azam and Dharmendra from Sholay, has Salman's protege Veer Actress Zarine Khan to dance alongside him.

Ready movie also has a lot of cameo appearances that include Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Kangana Ranaut and even Arbaaz Khan in small roles.

The Dhinka Chika song which has been taken from Allu Arjun's Telugu flick Arya 2, from the composition of Devi Sri Prasad, has been used by the actor Salman Khan, for this movie, despite the movie being composed by Pritam.

Directed by Aneez Bazmee, the promotions of Ready movie has been on full swing, and is expected to be a blockbuster as its songs are already a hit in the market among the youth.

Ready movie which is shot predominantly in Bangkok is a family entertainer.

The story of Ready revolves around how Salman Khan with the help of his family convinces Asin's big joint family and relatives to accept for their Marriage, which is told in a humorous way.

Ready Movie Tit-bits
  • Ready has Salman Khan playing the role of Prem Kapoor, who is known for his character Prem.
  • Asin's character in this film Ready is said to be on lines of Hum Aapke Hain Kaun's Madhuri Dixit, though later Asin has denied it.
  • Asin who is waiting for her stance in Bollywood with this 3rd movie of her is hoping it to become a hit.
  • There is a grand family number song, which has the entire cast of the film present that featuresthe marriage of Salman Khan and Asin and is done on a lavish scale to re-create the magic of Salman's family films like Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hai.
  • Humko Pyaar Hua is a romantic number shot between Asin and Salman Khan in the locations of Bangkok.
  • There is a auto ride fight sequence in the movie Ready, where it was shot in the Bangkok's auto called tuk-tuk. The chase scene is said to be one of the highlights of the movie.
  • Though Asin-Salman Khan's previous movie London Dreams was a flop, a lot is riding on the Ready Movie, for Anees Bazmee is desperately waiting for the film's success as his previous releases Thank You and No Problem, which again focusess on laugh-riot genre did not make it big at the box office, though it garnered a lot of hype and attention for its big star cast before the films' release.

In Ram Sampat, I predict that a star is born ? Aamir Khan

Bollywood star Aamir Khan seems to be in awe of composer Ram Sampath?s work in the soundtrack of his forthcoming production venture ?Delhi Belly? (DB). He is promiting it on social networking platforms, saying each track is a gem, but in the same breath, he requests people not to hear them on pirated CDs.

Composer Ram Sampath has gone experimental with the songs in ?Delhi Belly? and Aamir feels he will become a star after the adult comedy.

?The music of DB is out in stores now and I am so excited because I am really happy with the way the sound track has turned out. Ram Sampat has done some truly inspired work, and so have the various lyric writers. Each track is a gem. After really long I think its an album you would want to own,? Aamir said Saturday in a message on his blog www.aamirkhan.com

Aamir, who is in Pondicherry to shoot for Reema Kagti?s film, is asking his followers on his blog to give him feeback on the soundtrack.

?Please give me feedback, I?m very keen to know what you guys feel. But can I request you not to listen to it on pirated CDs or on websites who put up pirated versions,? asked the 46-year-old.

Releasing July 1, the film, directed by Abhinay Deo, is an adult comedy and stars Imran Khan, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Shenaz Treasurywala.

On Facebook, Aamir wrote: ? ?DK Bose? and ??.Uddhaarwaley Khisko? are only two of eigth kick-ass songs in ?Delhi Belly?. In Ram Sampat, I predict that a STAR is born!!! He has been a talent in hiding for sometime now, and post ?Delhi Belly? nothing can stop him. Mark my words?.?

?Bhaag DK Bose? is said to be the brainchild of the film?s writer Akshat Verma and later Amitabh Bhattacharya penned the song and Sampath composed and sang it.

?The DKB music video has been shot by a young, and in my opinion very talented director-editor, Sajid. Sajid has shot some great music videos and was recommended to me by Ram and Sona. Believe it or not he shot it in one day flat!!! I think we should all watch out for him,? wrote Aamir on Facebook.

As a producer, ?Delhi Belly? is Aamir?s sixth production venture and expectations are high because so far he has maintained an outstanding track record with all this productions ventures from various genres becoming a big success at the box office ? ?Dhobi Ghat?, ?Peepli Live?, ?Jaane Tu? Ya Jaane Naa?, ?Taare Zameen Par? and ?Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India?.

No Heroine for Imran-Ranbir-Prateik

Madhur Bhandarkar's much hyped project Heroine, has always made it to the headlines, be it for the wrong or right reasons. A few days ago, there were reports in the media informing that Bhandarkar has approached Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan and Prateik Babbar for the role of a young lover to actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Heroine.

Meanwhile, Madhur was quite stunned by the reports about the second male lead of Heroine. ?I am keen to know the source of this news. Now how did this news originate? I haven't approached Ranbir, Imran or Prateik at all and there's no question of approaching them either. In fact, the principal role will be enacted by Arjun Rampal. The remaining casting will fall in place later. Why this hullabaloo?" Madhur stated to Bollywood Hungama.

Hmm!! looks like the guys have missed the chance to romance the world beauty on-screen.

Deepika follows Katrina & Bipasha, goes de-glam for Jha's Aarakshan

There is something about Prakash Jha movies that allow the most glamorous of leading ladies to go plain and simple for camera. Whether it is Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif or now Deepika Padukone, none of these actresses have had any inhibition whatsoever to leave their set image behind and turn into someone who is far more real and rooted.

"Half a decade back it was Bipasha Basu who was fine being seen in a salwar-kameez or a saree for most part of Apaharan (2005). This was the time when she was mostly seen in glam avtar and was burning the screen with films like No Entry and Barsaat", comments an industry observer.

"Last year it was Katrina Kaif who decided to let go off her Barbie image and played a mature character in Raajneeti. She was also seen in a saree while bearing a similar kind of persona as Sonia Gandhi", he continues, "In fact it was her look in the film that was primarily responsible for all the rumours and speculations about the film being based on Gandhi 'parivaar'."

The entire argument around the leading lady carrying a simple look has been reignited all over again with Jha's Aarakshan up for release. The film features Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and expected she too would be going for a non-glam look.

"Deepika was just seen flaunting her mini-skirt in Dum Maaro Dum. Guess she did that to show her versatility, now that audience would be seeing her in a fully clothed avtar for Aarakshan", a filmmaker says on condition of anonymity, "To adopt a non-glam persona as per the need of the situation isn't new for her though. Last year too she had demonstrated that in films like Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Lafangey Parindey even though she had donned a bikini in Housefull and Break Ke Baad."

On questioned around why he chooses to make his leading ladies go de-glam for his films, Jha fires back, "I don't know what you expect from glamour. Glamour is what is inside you and not outside."

Though it does seem like a philosophical statement, Jha goes on to explain, "If you are good from inside, whatever you wear will make you look beautiful. There is a certain emotion that has to be brought out on screen when it comes to my films. When I develop an actor's look, it is based on the character that he or she is playing rather than what does audience perceive of him or her."

Hope audience agrees as well this time around too!

kareena kapoor hot bikini 2011 best new top

Kareena Kapoor (Hindi: ????? ????, pronounced [k??ri?na? k??pu?r]; born on September 21, 1980)often informally referred to as Bebo is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films. During her career, Kapoor has received six Filmfare Awards and has been noted for her performances in a range of film genres; these include her work from contemporary romantic dramas to comedies, period films to major Bollywood productions, as well as less publicised independent films

Born into a family where her parents, Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and elder sister Karisma were actors, Kapoor faced the media spotlight from a very young age, but did not make her acting debut until the 2000 film Refugee. Her melodrama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... became India's highest-grossing film in the overseas market in 2001, and is one of her commercial successes to date. After receiving negative reviews for a series of repetitive roles, Kapoor accepted more demanding parts in order to avoid being typecast and was consequently recognized by critics for displaying greater versatility as an actress Her portrayal of a sex worker in Chameli (2004) proved to be the turning point in her career and she was later noted for her performances in the critically acclaimed Dev (2004) and Omkara (2006

In 2007, Kapoor received her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in Jab We Met, a romantic comedy directed by Imtiaz Ali. She went on to play the lead female role in the thriller Kurbaan (2009), for which she earned critical acclaim, and the drama 3 Idiots (2009), which became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time Having done so, Kapoor has established herself as a leading actress of the Hindi film industry In addition to movie acting, Kapoor is a regular stage performer and has launched her own clothing line in association with being the brand ambassador for the retail chain Globus. Her off-screen life, including her relationship with actor Saif Ali Khan, is the subject of wide media coverage in India

Stanley Ka Dabba : Movie Review

Starring: Partho, Amole Gupte, Divya Dutta

Written & Directed by Amole Gupte

Rating: 4/5

A sparkling gem of a film, if ever there was one, Stanley Ka Dabba is the sort of rare and precious look at the world of the child as seen aeons ago in Satyajit Ray?s Apur Sansar or Ray?s short-film Pikoo?s Diary. Closer in time there was Taare Zameen Par with which Amole Gupte was profoundly associated.

Stanley Ka Dabba goes far deeper into the mind of the male child . This time the endeavour is not to milk the child?s deficiencies for tears. In Stanley?Gupte looks for and finds an enormously engaging and humane story in the normal tenor of a 10-year old boy?s school life.

Stanley and his friends as played by Partho and a group of absolutely unaffected children, come across as utterly normal creatures of classroom caprice. If as we have been told, these young boys are trained to face the camera, then the training doesn?t show at all.

The skill that has gone into the performances is so subtle and the artifice in their performances so minimal the boys come across as children of a lesser fraud.

The screenplay is almost Chekhovian in mood. The school premises where we meet Stanley and his friends becomes a playground for a sharp and savagely satirical power-play between the endearing and popular Stanley and his mean-minded Hindi teacher (Amole Gupte, lending a mouth-watering fluency to his part).

Around the teacher and the taught there emerges a plot that is tender and taut, slender but nonetheless resonant in its comment on what it means to be a growing child in an increasingly-competitive society.

Gupte fills the canvas of his richly but delicately layered canvas with characters who make a strong impression in no time at all.

If the teachers appear caricatural it?s the nature of their job. Specially heartwarming is Divya Dutt as the archetypal Catholic teacher ?Miss Rosy. ? Playing an emphatic echo of Simi Garewal?s character in Raj Kapoor?s Mera Naam Joker Divya brings immense warm to the staffroom table.

It is in the way that Gupte weaves the theme of school rules into the rituals of ?tiffin? breaks that the storyteller?s skills surface with deviousness and delicacy. These vignettes from school life are derived from first-hand experiences in the playground of children?s minds.

The fears and insecurities of the growing child, the fierce bonding among the boys in and out of the classroom and the cordon that comes up when the youngsters? school of solidarity is threatened by predatory instincts?Stanley Ka Dabba lays open a world of innocent and premature pains.

It?s a universe created out of great conviction and warmth. And yet, there is a surprising absence of selfconsciousness in the way the lives of the boys are drawn in and out of the classroom.

The narrative is buoyed by brilliant use of stage devices such as musical pieces that encircle the characters? lives like colourful strings of paper decoration at a children?s birthday party.

The festive mood is maintained even towards the conclusion when the utterly disarming Stanley?s dark secret is revealed. We know he will get out of the gloom. He is that sort of a brave and invincible child. This is that sort of an optimistic and upbeat view of lives that need nurturing, not preaching or pontifying.

Without getting preachy for even a second Stanley Ka Dabba makes a telling point on what it means to be a child in a world where children are often attacked by those who are meant to protect them. It takes tremendous fortitude to make a film that doesn?t treat children with kids? gloves.

Writer-director Amole Gupte just lets them be. The children blossom into recognizable endearing characters within the film?s restricted playing-time.

No, all is not lost. There is still reason for immense hope and happiness in life and in cinema. Stanley Ka Dabba proves it. Among its many exceptional virtues the one that stands out the most is the performance of Partho in the title role.

Before watching him it was impossible to believe a child could bring so much understated emotion into his character. Now after watching Partho it would be very difficult to watch other child actors attempt a similar threshold of emotive expression.

But that , some other time. For now savour the goodies in Stanley Ka Dabba. The flavours that waft across the school corridors are not unfamiliar to us. And yet when was the last time we saw a school and students that seemed to have forgotten the existence of a camera while shooting what is at the end of the day, a film?

Stanley Ka Dabba is a wicked and poignant journey into the heart and soul of a child. At once clever and artless it effortlessly takes cinema about child psychology out of the box. The tiffin box.
