Salman Khan aims at pulling crowd to theaters for ?Chillar Party?
Salman Khan is doing all that he can, to make people watch a small budget film Chillar Party, featuring little kids. This would also be Salman?s first project as a producer. The flick however, doesn?t have much star value save for an item number ?Tai Tai Fisss? by Ranbir Kapoor.
Salman Khan is making sure that his first production Chillar Party doesn?t go unnoticed, since the coming weeks would see the release of a slew of films featuring popular names like Amitabh Bachchan, Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan and many more.
The superstar has already gone to Delhi to show the movie to the Information and Broadcasting Minister, Ambika Soni. Salman isn?t known to hold special screenings of his films for politicians, but for Chillar Party he not just made an exception but also requested Mrs. Soni to make ?Chillar Party? tax free.
Chillar Party clashes with the big budget Murder 2, and so, it needs a face like Salman?s to pull the crowds to theaters.

IIFA winner?. Once again, it was Shahrukh vs Salman!!
IIFA 2011 saw Salman Khan?s blockbuster Dabangg taking away six awards, including the best picture award. However, the king of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan won the best actor award for his performance in My Name Is Khan.
Anushka Sharma won the best actress award for Band Baaja Baaraat and co-star Ranveer Singh won the award for Best Debut Male. Together they won the award for the hottest pair.
Sonakshi Sinha won the award for best debut female. Other awards received by the Dabangg cast and crew are ? best screenplay went to Abhinav Kahsyap and Dileep Shukla, best music direction went to Sajid-Wajid and Lalit Pandit, best female playback singer went to Mamta Sharma for her song ?Munni Badnaam?, best male playback singer went to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for ?Tere Mast Mast Do Nain? and rounding up the list is Sonu Sood who received the award for best performance in a negative role.
Sharmila Tagore and Dharmendra (who has not completed 50 years as an actor) were presented with outstanding achievement awards. Other big winners were Karan Johar ? best director award for My Name Is Khan, Arjun Rampal best supporting actor for Rajneeti , Prachi Desai ? best supporting actress for Once upon a time in Mumbaai.
The entertaining hosts for the evening were Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh, who had plenty of comedy gags. Riteish was also an award winner, winning the award for best comic role for Housefull.

Aamir Khan, the new item boy of Bollywood, has taken the industry by storm.
Aamir Khan has won so many hearts with his debut item song ?I hate you like I love you? in his upcoming production Delhi Belly. Paying tribute to the disco era of Indian cinema of the 1980s, Aamir enacts Mithun Chakraborty, Govinda, Rishi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and even Amitabh Bachchan.
That?s perhaps the reason why the item song has gone down very well with the fans who are particularly delighted by Aamir?s new retro makeover.
?As far as the item dance done by me is concerned, it is a warning to Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone that the era of item girls is over? now it?s time for item boys,? Aamir said.
Earlier, Aamir said that he has copied the styles of many cine legends in the dance number.
?I have copied Amitji?s hairstyle, Govinda and Mithunda?s dance style. Hair on my chest is from Anilji and the dressing is an amalgamation of all,? he said.
The song has been choreographed by Bosco, written by Akshat and composed by Ram Sampat.

Sonakshi, finally manages to get Ranveer?
Sonakshi Sinha publicly declared her crush on the Band Baaja Barat actor Ranveer Singh. She couldn?t stop gushing about the newbie and said she would have loved to date him, if he was single.
Recently, at the IIFA award function, Anushka Sharma was suppossed to perform with Ranveer Singh. The couple rehearsed for their performance, however, at the last moment, Anishka was told by organisers that Sonakshi was a better fit.
A source revealed, ?At the last moment Anushka was replaced by Sonakshi to dance with Ranveer. The organisers said that Anushka was not well prepared, and thus they couldn?t take any chances.?
Looks like Anushka really had a tough time at Toranto. To make matters worse, while receiving an award Lisa Ray mispronounced her name as ?Anushka Shankar?. Even though KJo was quick to correct that, Anushka?s expression said it all.
The actress, however, graciously accepted her award and thanked Karan for correcting the mistake. Fortunately, things seemed to have lightened up for Anushka, when Ranveer, upon accepting his award, said, ?Thanks Anushka for making me hot!?
