List of World's Top 10 Most Livable Cities 2011 according to Global Liveability Survey, Australian cities are considered the most liveable in the world, Melbourne Most Livable City 2011

Australian cities are considered the most liveable in the world, according to a new report.
Melbourne topped the list of 140 cities included the 2011 Global Livability Survey, produced by the Economist Intelligence Unit. This is the first time in almost a decade that Vancouver has not come in on top, slipping slightly to third place in the survey. Cites were rated on 30 factors spread across five areas: stability, health care, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure, according to The Economist.

Vancouver is not at the top of our ranking of 140 cities (Vancouver was in joint first position with Melbourne in the 2002 survey). Melbourne now replaces Vancouver as the most liveable city in the survey. The general conditions required for a location to be awarded a high liveability ranking continue to be well reflected in Australian and Canadian cities.

Comedy is a tough genre: Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan, who made the audience laugh with his gay act in ?Dostana?, feels comedy is the toughest genre for him.

Bachchan, 35, who is expecting his first child with wife Aishwarya, says he has completely forgotten the genre in three years. The actor is currently shooting his next comedy ?Bol Bachchan? with Ajay Devgn and Asin.

?I have almost forgotten how tough comedy was. Ajay Devgan just reminded me that the last comedy I did was ?Dostana? that took 3 years ago. It?s a very tough genre!,? he posted on a social networking site.

Bachchan was paired with John Abraham in the film that explores the story of two men who pretend to be gay, so that they can rent an apartment from an old lady.

?It is toughest infact? completely drains you. But working with great co actors is such a high! They make you better,? he added.

The duo will return in another untitled film which will be written and directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

Here is a good news for Salman Khan?s fans. The actor has been operated successfully and was advised 15 days complete rest. Salman Khan who was suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia, a nerve disorder that causes intense pain in the face operated abroad. He left for the US on August 29.

"The surgery was done last night and lasted for five hours. It will take at least fifteen days for the actor to resume work and he is advised complete rest till then. Fresh tests will be conducted further to check the progress of recovery. The actor will then go to South Africa to shoot for Ek Tha Tiger," sources close to the actor told reporters.

Since 2007, the 'Dabangg' star has been suffering from the pain in his jaw while shooting for `Partner`. Over the years, it got worse but last year the condition was beyond controllable and finally, he has undergone a surgery in the US.

Priyanka to grace Mollywood screens?

Of late birdies share that Bollywood's beauty Priyanka Chopra will soon step into the screens of our God's Own Country.

It is said that the Desi Gal of B-town has been approached for the remake of classic hit movie 'Rajavinte Makan' which stars superstars Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi in the lead.

Birdies revealed that if Piggy Chops gives her nod for the project then she will be playing the lawyer's character played by Ambika in the original. Earlier Vidya Balan and Asin were considered for the role.

Released in 1986, 'Rajavinte Makan' in fact is loosely based on Sidney Sheldon's bestseller 'Rage Of Angels'.
