Bachchan wins best actor in social role award

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is elated to have won two awards - best actor in social role and entertainer of the year - at Big Star Entertainment Awards last night.

"2 awards... I am blessed...!!," Bachchan tweeted today.

The awards saw the introduction of a new sub-category - 'social' - for actors and films.

Rise of Phoenix: Vidya Balan and Ranbir Kapoor

She is not the stereotypical Bollywood actress, she is neither beautiful as Katrina nor she has a size zero figure like Kareena. Yet, there is something endearing about Vidya Balan that makes her all the more special. Touted as thinking man?s muse, Vidya Balan had a great run this year. After hitting the bull?s eye with ?No One Killed Jessica? early on the year, Vidya took Bollywood by storm with her astounding portrayal of Silk Smitha in ?The Dirty Picture?. Vidya wooed the audience and critics alike with her power packed performance as a matinee idol, whose single look would send men into ecstasy.
Talking of male stars, ?Rockstar? made Ranbir Kapoor an overnight sensation and had the audience eating out of his hand. Just four-years-old in the industry, Ranbir Kapoor enjoyed mixed luck at Box Office until Imtiaz Ali?s ?Rockstar? saw the light of the day. ?Rockstar? might not have hit the marquee but Ranbir Kapoor?s Janardan Jakhar aka Jordan act had huge fan following.

What advice Aamir gave to Abhishek Bachchan on fatherhood?

They were seen cozied up to each other, involved in a warm and friendly discussion at a prayer meeting held at a Mumbai film studio in the memory of the late Dev Anand, lovingly and respectfully called by the industry folks as Dev Saab.

While the first time father Abhishek was quietly listening to the senior thespian's animated discourse with a very friendly smile on his face, everyone was left wondering about the topic of conversation. Were they discussing the nitty-gritty of fatherhood? Both looked relaxed and happy, with the bright glow of fatherhood adorning their visage.

Their spouses were absent, probably busy with their motherly chores. Who knows, they may even be talking about how neglected they feel now by their wives. Both of them also left the venue together. Aamir being the more experienced among the duo was in complete command. He is also the one full of ideas and a fast mover, having named his baby boy Azad Rao Khan while Abhishek and the rest of Bachchans are still scouting for a suitable name for their 'bitiya'.

Katrina Kaif turns vulgar in Chikni Chameli?

If you think Katrina Kaif was bold in item number 'Sheila ki Jawani' from Tees Maar Khan, think again! If you have seen Katrina sizzle in 'Chikni Chameli' from Agneepath, you will agree that Kat never looked hotter than this!

Dressed in bright red coloured tight cholis, with short ghagras, Katrina Kaif is undoubtedly looking super hot in item number 'Chikni Chameli'! Not only have her clothes become bold, Katrina's moves and gestures also seem extremely provocative, crude and suggestive. However, anybody who has seen Katrina in 'Chikni Chameli' will vouch for the fact that Katrina Kaif looks extremely decent and yet sizzles the screen!

It is possibly the innocence combined with drop-dead gorgeous looks that stop Katrina Kaif from bordering into the 'vulgarity zone.'

Very few women are lucky enough to be compared to yesteryears Bollywood cabaret dancer Helen, who in spite of her dare-bare acts managed to keep away from being vulgar. Katrina Kaif can now be counted in that category!

Katrina Kaif is Rakhi Sawant's copycat

Bollywood's original item girl Rakhi Sawant seems too jealous of actress Katrina Kaif. Rakhi alleged that Katrina has copied her antics in her 'Chikni Chameli' act in Agneepath remake.

"I think Chikni Chameli is a good song. Katrina has danced very well but it's not something new. I have already done all this before. You can watch all my songs, I have already done that?, Rakhi told at the Big Stars Entertainment Awards.

"I have done this in Dekhta hai tu kya and she did this in Shiela ki jawaani. In Chikni Chameli, she is again following me. It seems Katrina really likes me...It's alright if someone wants to follow me and dance," added Rakhi.

Katrina has received unexpected and overwhelming applauds since her first item dance 'Sheila ki jawaani'. It is expected that her 'Chikni Chameli' would evoke the same amount acclaimation all over again. It seems that Rakhi couldn't bear Katrina's popularity as an item girl.
