Full Disclosure: A stylist tells all.

"People seem to think being a stylist is a glamorous job. It?s actually the most unpaid job, with payments arriving many months after the shoot. Luckily for me, I have a day job and so I refer to it as my little trust fund. The other difficult thing is that you have to do everything: the creative concept, find a photographer, model, make-up artist, location, be on the phone with every fricking PR person in town sourcing clothes, and managing the tempers and needs and fancies of five different people. And if the tiniest thing goes wrong, it?s always ?the stylist?s fault?.
Magazines don?t pay for a thing, not travel or food or anything. Zero. So we have to tie up hotel sponsorships. Get Dior or Armani on board to foot the bill, and give them a cover in return. Most Indian fashion magazines have no voice or vision, just one stale formula: take a Dior/LV dress, add a Bollywood actress, put them in a palace, and there?s your cover. You?ll often find them sporting a random flashy watch?to ensure five pages of ads. And Bollywood actresses can be painful.
You know why you see so many Russian models around? Indian models. They bully younger designers, think too much of themselves, don?t remain in shape, and they have ridiculously long careers despite all this?some of the so-called ?top? models here could be the mothers of the new 16-year-old supermodels abroad.
They?re just not professional. Tamara Moss looks amazing, but she?s amazingly painful to work with?always in her own world, not in a good way. Joey Matthews is not in shape. Jesse Randhawa should give up. Noyonika Chatterjee, well, she was professional, but thank God she?s stopped. Tinu Verghese throws tantrums. Bhawna Sharma and Michelle (Innes) have problems, post-marriage, posing in hotpants and swimsuits. Which is just as well, considering the shape they?re in."

Desi Boyz gets 'A' certificate while The Dirty Picture passed without any cuts

Two big upcoming films, Desi Boyz and The Dirty Picture were examined by the Censor Board this week and the committee's decision has left many astounded. Apparently, the Akshay Kumar and John Abraham starrer Desi Boyz has been given an 'A' certificate while The Dirty Picture has been passed without any cuts.

The makers of Desi Boyz were expecting a U/A certificate since it's a big-budget film with Akshay, John, Chitrangda and Deepika. They feel that the film is made for a family audience and getting an 'A' certificate could cause them a lot of trouble. Akshay and John play male strippers in the film and that could have been a reason for board's decision.

In contrast, the makers of The Dirty Picture were very anxious about the Censor Board's decision as the Censors have been sent a notice by the AP High Court to decide whether the film should be released. To their surprise the film has been passed with an 'A' certificate without any cuts.

Salman Khan, John Abraham rivalry ends?

It seems that long-time Bollywood rivals John Abraham and Salman Khan are all set to turn as friends. Thanks to Big Boss 5 that would bring the duo closer for reconciliation.

John in an exclusive chat with Daily Bhaskar, gave a hint of a patch up with Salman, through his candid talks. John went to heap praises for Salman, when probed about his lack of interest in Twitter. ?I would love to join Twitter, but if I become active, I will be more on the social side. It?s only about using the medium properly. I don?t believe in actors, who just read philosophical quotes and tweet. For me, the most interesting quotes are of Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan,? says John.

Even the Force actor have readily agreed to share the small screen space with Salman, for the promotion of his forthcoming venture 'Desi Boyz' in the upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 5.

Lootera!

They really are the best worst couple around! Sonakshi "Jumbotron forehead" Sinha, and Ranveer "I talk outta my ass" Singh made a dual appearance for the first look of their movie, Lootera at YashRaj studios. Both came dressed in their foreplay filmy characters. Pics follow:

Uberskull here, looks nasty. Seriously, can't she even attempt to cover some acreage up there? Don't even get me started on the OBOOBI...Grrr! Meanwhile the other idiot actually looks prettier. Lipstick and blush to boot!

So the half-oiled, half-unwashed hair look is 'in' now? Ick. She grosses me out!

Aww, Ranveer thinks he's starring in West Side Story! At the event, he made some crack about always wanting to wear high waisted pants...just like Aamir Khan....lol

Visitors galore!

With buzz going around that Seven Hills hospital may rename their maternity ward after ARB, other Bollywood celebs make a visit to the hospital to see Mommy and Baby B. Maybe they can rename their waiting areas as Bollywood A-list, B-list, and C-list...? Pics follow:

Yes, thank you Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl for looking right at the cameras just in case we didn't notice you!

Ashutosh Gowariker

Shweta Nanda looks tired of these visits already....

Proud Mama, Aditya Rai.

Quote of the day

"I am an independent girl in real life. I am not dependent on my boyfriend financially unlike my character in Desi Boyz."

--Deepika Padukone

Celebs at the Chivas Kwan event

Nargis Fakhri walked the red carpet in this multi-color block dress by Shivan Narresh. She looks beautiful, even with her torpedoes aimed, and an "I farted" expression on her face.

Eww, every now and then we are reminded why Malaika Arora Khan should never give a "real" smile. That busted grill of hers totally ruins the package. She wore the same zipped McQueen dress, Ms. Malik wore to the BT bash. I almost prefer it on Avantika, rather than MAK the MILF.

Wow, wtf was Neha Dhupia thinking coming out of her house looking like this? She could give Jumbotron a serious run for her head space! And Neha honey, throw some lube on those knees will you? Lotion...cream....anything! Gotta keep those money makers looking better. ;-)

Doof!

Soha Ali Khan looked semi-cute. Has she lost some weight?

Mmm...my new tall, dark, handsome primate. Rana Daggubati certainly gets my tongue wagging, if only I could ignore his uncanny resemblance to a monkey...ah well. McChimpy it is!

Maryanne and Ginger. A 3-hour tour, anyone?

The couple most likely to go on a drug-induced wild car chase with police hot on their tail, Arjun and Mehr Rampal.

The couple most likely to rob a bank together and have wild sex atop heaps of cash, Abhay Deol and Preeti Desai.

The couple most likely to hit a McDonald's for a "fancy" night out, Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin.

New BFF alert!!
