Amrit Maghera set for her Bollywood innings in ?Someday?

Model Amrit Maghera, 28, is not a new name in the glamour world. She is a known name on ramp and has been the face of Lakme and Platinum for a long time now. She was also seen as the second heroine in Subhash Ghai?s ?Yuvraaj? and is remembered for her lip lock with Zayed Khan in the flick.

Now, the versatile beauty is all set for her big Bollywood debut in ?Someday? where she will be seen opposite Sahil Prem, a Sheffield Hallam University graduate, who is directing and starring in the musical.

Maghera, though born and brought up in UK, has her origins in Punjab. She is a trained ballet, tap and contemporary dancer and has used her dancing talents in choreographing a dance sequence for designer Suneet Verma at the Lakme India Fashion Week?s finale held in Mumbai in 2010.

Amrit loves Bollywood films and their elaborate dance routines. ?I?ve always wanted to be a part of this industry. But then people said why be just a dancer, why not try and become an actress in Bollywood? I?m currently working really hard towards it and I?m learning a lot every day,? she says.
