Ranbir: I am looking for a heart break!

He is back again! The heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is all set to flaunt his charm with his upcoming flick ROCKSTAR. Even the posters and the trailer revealed enough about the rockstar image of this chocolate boy.

As heard, ROCKSTAR being a modern version of 'Devdas' ...seems Ranbir will again have to go through a heart break as similar to his earlier films SAAWARIYA, BACHNA AE HASEENO and to some extent AJAB PREM KI GAZAB KAHANI.

Also, at a recent promotional event of ROCKSTAR, Ranbir spoke about the film, "There is one character in the film who says that 'to be big in life you need a heart to be broken' and the character which I m playing as Janardan Jakhar takes it seriously and the journey starts from there."

He added, 'In my personal life I have gone through heart break! I don't know... but I m looking for a heart break.'

Well, after being into relationships for so many times and then the break ups Ranbir is still waiting for a heart break??? Strange!!

Salman Khan moves on to other films after Bodyguard

?Bodyguard? starring salman Khan managed to gain good collections for itself right through it?s first week and has now emerged as a blockbuster success.

While it is now a known fact that Salman is enjoying a purple phase for him, let?s pause and reflect on how his future projects look like. If one looks at it closely, most of the films that he has in pipeline are with friends and family members. ?Dabangg 2? is with Arbaaz Khan, ?Sher Khan? is with Sohail Khan and ?Kick? is with Sajid Nadiadwala. Rest assured, he would be enjoying a healthy outing once he steps into these projects next year. The only ?outside? film that he is doing is ?Ek Tha Tiger? with Yash Raj Films, the shooting of which has begun.

With the kind of success that he as well as Katrina Kaif have been enjoying of late, expectations would be humungous from ?Ek Tha Tiger? as well. With 100 crores plus pretty much becoming a benchmark for Salman Khan after ?Dabangg?, ?Ready? and ?Bodyguard?, one can be quite positive of ?Ek Tha Tiger? to roar of a 150 crores plus total as well. Meanwhile Kareena Kapoor too can be seen smiling from ear to ear since immediately after ?Bodyguard? she is now moving on to ?Ra. One? which has in it to top the 200 crores mark, hence giving her yet another double century after ?3 Idiots?.

Priyanka: I love dressing according to the script!

For Bollywood siren Priyanka Chopra, fashion is another word for comfort in her dictionary.

While speaking at a conference Saturday before the Bollywood diva sizzled on the ramp in a Neeta Lulla outfit on the first day of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2011, she said that no extravagant fashion statement should be made compromising comfort.

"Even the best outfit has to be comfortable," she said.

Priyanka urged the youth of the country to create their own style statement by finding what suits them best.

"Girls today need to wear something that suits them and not just follow the stars. You need to find what looks nice on you," remarked Priyanka.

Priyanka, who features as an autistic girl in Anurag Basu's upcoming film BARFEE, clarified that she loves the challenge of playing different characters and she is open to the idea of dressing to the needs of the character even if the glam quotient is not up to the mark.

"I want to dress up according to the script because you have to become the characters. It's not that you have to look ultra-glamorous always," she said.

The former Miss World praised Neeta Lulla for her work and lauded her for her contributions to celluloid fashion.

Priyanka remarked, "I think she is one of the most talented designers in our country. She is one of the few who understands cinema."

Upon query Priyanka revealed that she is going to don two different looks for her two upcoming movies - DON2 and AGNEEPATH.

"In DON 2 my look would be very stylish and in AGNEEPATH I will sport a very raw rustic Maharashtra brand," she said.

Priyanka stated that she is very enthusiastic about her pop album and she has been taking vocal lessons for that.

"It is my album but there will be collaborations. It's going to be in English and it's going to be a pop album," remarked Priyanka.

The handsome actor with greek god looks Hrithik Roshan recently unveiled a deep hidden secret that the Bollywood queen Madhuri Dixit had caught him half naked once!

Chill guys, its not what you think.. On Preity Zinta?s show, ?Up Close and Personal? Hrithik revealed that during the making of Koyla in 1997, Hrithik was a kid and use to assist his dad Rakesh Roshan.

It was during the film?s shoot that Madhuri caught him draped in a towel after he came out of a shower. Instead of wiping himself dry Hrithik stood in front of the mirror and yelled out Anil Kapoor?s intense dialogues from ?Mere Jung?

Amitabh Bachchan will love Hrithik Roshan starrer Hindi movie Agneepath: Karan Johar (Interview)

Bollywood film maker, producer Karan Johar talks about the upcoming Hindi movie ?Agneepath?, the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer film. Set for 2012 release, the new film will see Hrithik Roshan playing Vijay Dinanath Chauhan that was originally essayed by Amitabh in 1990. Read the interview at Calcutta Tube.

What made you produce the remake of Agneepath?

When Karan (Malhotra, director) came to me with the idea of doing this Agneepath, initially there was a fear of reputation. But the way he projected it and put it up?the way he adapted it and energized it in a new format, I was very excited. As you all know, the initial Agneepath (produced by Karan?s father Yash Johar), did not meet with commercial expectations. There as always a desire my father had?he would always say: ?I wish we could do it again? because it was a film he was tremendously proud of. But when I heard Karan?s adaptation, I knew that it will surely hit the bull?s eye?I felt it could as far as my understanding of commerce goes.

When Don was remade (by Farhan Akhtar), Amitabh Bachchan said ?original should be left untouched?. What do you think his reaction will be on remaking of another of his classic (Agneepath)?

He will be one of the first people I would like to show Agneepath (the new one) to. He is Agneepath?he represents Agneepath. Time and again I have said this is not an adaptation, this is a tribute to him (Amitabh Bachchan), to Mukul Anand (director of original Agneepath) and Yash Johar. We are paying our homage to them. We have made this Agneepath with great amount of respect and reverence for them and I can only know that with his (Amitabh Bachchan?s) blessings and love, this film will tide all the turbulence that might come on its path of fire. All I want to say that he will love the film as he loves all of us.

So, you want to say Agneepath is not a remake of the 1990 film?

Of course it is a remake?the name is same-Agneepath, the main protagonist is called Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, the villain is called Kancha Cheena. The basic plot is the same?it?s a revenge film. But there are also many changes and differences from the original track. That?s why I am saying it is a tribute to the original film. I don?t want to use the word ?remake? as this word gets misused often.

Why did you never think of directing this film instead of just producing it?

If I were given the opportunity to direct a film like this, I won?t be able to?I am incapable. As you have seen there is only one moment of action in my entire career when Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) slaps Hrithik (Roshan) in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. That was the only violence I ever had in my cinema. So the second bout of action in Dharma Productions is again with Hrithik. But there?s a little more than just one slap in Agneepath.

The film releases January 2012. But you have already started promoting your film?

It?s the new age of marketing your product well. We all work hard towards getting a great first week (collection) for our films. So, anyone who says only raising bar of cinema will work at the Box Office, is actually lying. We are into filmmaking because cinema is a beautiful blend of commerce and art.
