Rockstar concert in Delhi, Mumbai in November

The much-awaited music of Imtiaz Ali?s Rockstar composed by AR Rahman which has already created a huge buzz among the masses, is finally set to hit stands on Monday without an official music launch event. However, the film?s producer and music label have come to an agreement to do concerts in
Delhi and London, in early November, along with the cast and crew of the film.

?The buzz around the music is so big that we don?t need any formal music launch. We wanted to do something different, so we thought of this new idea,? says Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.

The soundtrack of Rockstar was scheduled to release on September 24, and was later postponed to September 29. The delay in production, followed by some final touches to the CD, stalled the release of the music, reveals Kumar. ?The delay took place due to the production. The CD is also a bit different. It has a lot of embossing. The master also got delayed because Rahman was not in India. We were anyway targeting its release around Navratri and not during the shraadh (fasting) period,? he says.

According to Kumar, the concerts will feature Rahman on stage, and Ranbir may join in too. ?We are planning concerts since the film is about music. It will be in Delhi on November 1 and later in London. And by November, I am sure the songs will have become more popular,? he says.

Anushka Sharma a Size 8? Yeah Right

Forget the modeling career. Forget the films. In the future Anushka Sharma will be known for one thing and one thing only: being the size zero actress who had the cojones to try and tell a reporter she was a size 8.

No one's buying it Anushka.

In an interview with DNA today the waifish slip of an actress fended off rumors of an eating disorder. Asked to comment on her weight she replied, "I am a lean, tall girl with big muscles." She then rather indignantly batted down any talk of her being "sub-size zero" by claiming that there was no such thing as a size zero (um, hello... does the name Kareena Kapoor mean nothing to you?) and that she herself was a UK size 8 (a US size 4-6).

http://www.mid-day.com/imagedata/2009/jun/anushka-iffa.jpgRubbish. Anushka Sharma is tinier than Kareena Kapoor was at her slimmest, which Kapoor proudly touted as a size zero.

It'd be one thing if Anushka (or any other actresses for that matter) would just be honest and say that with the demands of their jobs, the stress, the constant traveling, etc., it's natural to lose a bit of weight. But to try to pretend you're four sizes larger than you are in defense of criticism about your weight, when anyone can see otherwise, is absolutely ridiculous.

Her weight wasn't the only thing Sharma was defensive about. When asked about an alleged rivalry with Bollywood newcomer Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka exclaimed, "I'm not going to sit and fight with her for a boy!" (an interesting announcement considering no one asked her about any boy?in this case she's obviously referring to Band Baaja Baaraat co-star Ranveer Singh, who has been linked to Sinha). She also derided Sinha for only having done one film so far.

It's tempting to say that Anushka Sharma is starting to get too big for her britches... metaphorically at least!
