The eagerly awaited fashion extravaganza 'Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2011' kicked off today at Leela Palace, Bangalore featuring Rina Dhaka, Rakesh Agarvwal, Anand Kabra and Rohit & Rahul on Day 1. Rina's inspiration was monsoon holiday and the collection used traditional prints and craft with modernity. She has opted for folksy, floaty prints, embroidery and home spun accessories to bring out a comfortable and a cool look using digital, screen, bloc print. A favorite of Bollywood style setters, Rakesh presented a collection that caters to the need of every urban Indian girl from a red carpet event and a festive celebration to her wedding day and trousseau. Day 1 of BPFT also featured Anand Kabra?s line that was an eclectic ensemble in shades of winter white, black, chocolate, yellow and tangerine in varied fabrics such as organza, tulle, satin, silk jersey, crepe de chine. Rohit & Rahul present ?Amazement? a collection structured to try and discover the wonder of discovery and surprise again. And in the fabrics and the colors and the silhouettes they try to find the joy of the journey from the unknown to the known, once again. They had ?Giselle Monteiro? walk on the ramp as their Show stopper. The stars of this edition of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour include Anand Kabra, Asmita Marwa, Gavin Miguel, Mandira Wirk, Neeta Lulla, Raakesh Agarvwal, Ramona Narang, Rina Dhaka, Rocky S, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna, Reynu Taandon, Vikram Phadnis and Wendell Rodricks.
