Preity's new show gets a name and a guest!

We told you a lil while ago about Preity Zinta's new Bollywoodish role. Seeing as how movie roles are few and far between, the actress is turning talk show host with the newly formed channel UTV Stars.

Her show will finally be called 'Up Close and Personal with PZ', after requesting her fans for possible show titles via Twitter:

"What should my show on UTV Stars be called? Pls don't say The Preity Zinta Show cuz I want u all 2 be original so .....!"

Uhh....she wants US to be original...? lol....k....Karan Johar in all his talk show glory, suggested: "TEA with PREITEA!!!" Thank Goodness that wasn't picked! 

Contrary to earlier reports the first guest on her show will be her pal Akshay Kumar, who will undoubtedly plug his Indo-Canadian production Breakaway, among his other forthcoming films. 

Hopefully this show can garner the ratings UTV is hoping, because it's a perfect fit for Preity. She's Tweeted her enthusiasm regarding the show via Twitter:

"'UP CLOSE & PERSONAL with PZ!' That's da name of da show guys. It will air on UTV STARS! Am so excited cuz its with all my friends! Ting."

"Just finished the first day of shooting 4 my show! It was so nice 2 chat with Akki ! Full marks 2 him 4 being so amazing and humble Ting!"

The show is set to air August 27th. Congrats and good luck, Honey!
