Kareena Kapoor is one of the rare B-town celebrities who can manage a sound relationship with both the Khans - Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan simultaneously.

When Shahrukh recently came to Delhi to promote his film Ra.One, Kareena was missing from the event. The reason? Well, she is currently shooting for her upcoming movie Bodyguard with the Dabangg Khan - Salman.

If the buzz is to be believed, Kareena was mighty upset about the fact that she could not join Shahrukh in Delhi. Another buzz is that King Khan is waiting for Kareena Kapoor to join him for the promotions, so that he can officially launch the much awaited item song - Wanna Be My Chammak Challo. But Shahrukh understands that the shooting of Bodyguard cannot be left in between.


Apparently, Kareena has already spoken to Shahrukh about the time management problem and has decided that as soon as the shooting of Bodyguard completes, she will make sure that she remains available for the long tour promotion campaign of Ra.One, planned by Shahrukh.

Confirming the news, Kareena?s spokesperson is quoted as saying: ?She?ll be joining Shahrukh soon for the promotions and that will happen as soon as she finishes the schedule of Bodyguard. She?s quite excited with the way the film has turned out.?

Well, Kareena, you truly are one lucky lady! On one hand, you have Salman Khan as your Bodyguard and on the other hand, Shahrukh Khan is your life saviour as G.One! Great going!

Madame Tussauds confirms Kareena to be immortalised in wax

Madame Tussauds has confirmed that Kareena Kapoor, is to be the latest Indian film icon to be immortalised in wax as the star of a new touring Bollywood experience.

The experience will tour Madame Tussauds attractions worldwide and is due to open with a three month residency at the new Madame Tussauds Blackpool this autumn. ?We are delighted to announce this exciting new Madame Tussauds Bollywood experience and to confirm that Kareena Kapoor will be the next Indian film star to be immortalised in wax,? said Nicky Marsh, Director of Global Marketing at Madame Tussauds. ?We have a longstanding commitment to the Indian film industry and Bollywood stars have already been featured in a number of our attractions around the world from London to New York.

Kareena?s figure will join four other major names in Indian cinema ? Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan and will tour in Asia, the USA and Europe after premiering in Madame Tussauds newest venue in Blackpool, England.

As well as the chance to get up close to their favourite stars guests will enjoy some additional interactive themed elements and full details are now in the final planning stages. The actress has given a sitting in Mumbai where the Madame Tussauds creative team took hundreds of precise measurements and a catalogue of reference photographs.

She will be closely involved in selecting the pose and styling the overall look which will show her in glamorous red carpet mode. The figure will take four months to complete at a cost of ?150,000. Kareena is the first Indian actress to be honoured since Aishwarya Rai joined the A-list line up in 2004 and will follow heartthrob actor, Hrithik Roshan, who personally unveiled his new figure at Madame Tussauds London In January.

The touring Bollywood experience will kick off at Madame Tussauds Blackpool in September and then Bangkok in January before transferring to Hong Kong, , Hollywood, Las Vegas, Washington DC, Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna and finally London.

It will stay in each location for twelve weeks. Exact tour route and full details are still to be confirmed.

Sonakshi-Katrina?s catfight get HOTTER!!!

The cat fight between Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha, is getting hotter day by day.

It all started when reports of Sonakshi replacing Katrina, first in big banner movies and later in the ad world, started hogging headlines that upset Kat.

In no time Sonakshi, who by then had attained stardom, allegedly tried mending things between her and Salman?s ex, through text messages.

Kat, however, denied receiving any such messages from the newbie.

Says a source close to Katrina, ?She has always believed in maintaining a dignified stance with respect to her relationships with people in B-Town and personal or professional acquaintances. She doesn?t share any equation with Sonakshi and is surprised at the many stories coming out. Sonakshi has been telling people that Katrina didn?t have the grace to reply to her message or respond to her calls. Katrina has always maintained a diplomatic stance, but now she?s irritated as the stories don?t seem to stop.?

Deepika, not original choice for 'Rana'?

Right from the time a script is picked upon for Superstar Rajinikant, everything at the pre-production, production, post-production and probably even ages after his movie is out, everything that happens surrounding him is nothing but news.

Now the latest we hear is that, our B-town's tall damsel Deepika Padukone was not the initial choice for the film by the team. Instead, the first choice for the film was the 'Dabangg' beauty Sonakshi Sinha, who will now be introduced to Tamil cinema through 'Viswaroopam' where she will be cast opposite Kamal Haasan, the other pillar of Kollywood.

An amusing piece of information, isn't it?

It is said that, KS Ravikumar strongly believed that Sonakshi would be perfect for the role, but then Superstar had something else to say.

Rajini, who has been a good friend of Sonakshi's father, Shatrughan Sinha right from their 'Asli Nakli' days in 1986, didn't feel it was right to share on-screen romance with Shatrughan's daughter.

Deepika was approached after this and she was only more than happy to don the role of 'Rana's lady love.

Imran, Aamir Khan together on screen for the first time

The latest trailer of ?Delhi Belly?, to come out July 19, will bring together Aamir and Imran Khan for the first time in a mock-argument over the colourful and lurid content of the adult comedy.

The trailer, shot by the film?s director Abhhinay Deo last week, is bound to raise more eyebrows than anything that has ever come out from the distinguished Aamir Khan Productions.

?Aamir wants the potential audience for ?Delhi Belly? to know that this is not a film for the squeamish or the purists. By bringing Imran into the discussion on aesthetics and how ?Delhi Belly? will reverse Aamir?s image as a producer, Aamir clearly wants to let the world know that ?Delhi Belly? is the ultimate culture shock for Aamir?s fans,? said a source.

Imran actually lets loose a volley of choicest Hindi abuses in it.

Priyanka goes gaga over Gaga's Indian tour

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is a huge fan of Lady Gaga and had not only been to her concert at Madison Square Garden in New York but also got the chance to meet her. Now, she is excited on hearing the news that she is coming to Mumbai soon.

It is said that the Poker Face singer is planning a three-city tour in India this August. And Priyanka is going gaga over it. She said that it will be great if the singer come to India and added that she is looking forward to meet her again.

Lady Gaga had earlier told the Wall Street Journal that she would love to visit India. ?The reason I'm going to India now is because I can. I didn't have the money or the resources before to travel and bring all of my things with me and reach an entire new territory of fans,? she said.

Her manager Troy Carter added, ?She's expanding her base. In the last album cycle we toured a lot of places in the world, but there were still some territories that we weren't able to go and spend time and really work. India was one of those places.?

Priyanka's cousin gets lewd mails

Priyanka Chopra's cousin Meera who thought she was getting vulgar mails from an unknown person was shocked to discover that she was being harassed by her acquaintances.

The police however managed to trace the IP address from which the mails were being sent, reports Mid Day.

The FIR, a
copy of which is with the tabloid, states that: "During the course of technical enquiry, request was sent to Hotmail & Yahoo asking registrant and log details of the questioned email IDs. Hotmail had provided IP addresses belonging to Airtel Delhi & France, whereas Gmail had provided only registrant details. Meanwhile, Airtel had also informed that the questioned emails were created and used from the IP address allocated to the Internet connection installed in the name of one S K Ahuja."

MeeraMeera was shocked to discover that she knew the person who was harassing her, but refused to divulge further details.

She told Mid Day, "I am shocked at the incident. It's like that saying, 'Apne log hi barbad karte hain' (It's people known to you who cause harm)."

"I know who they are (it's the entire family) but I can't reveal their identity as I have been asked by the cops not to disclose it yet. These people are not in India and are abroad. I myself want to expose it to media," she added.

"This person also has my phone details for the past six months, which he has e-mailed to my fiance. He even tried to threaten me by sending mails directly to me. The whole incident is really bad for the families. My engagement is almost on the verge of breaking up," she had said in her complaint.

Meera who's currently in Delhi is planning to leave for Mumbai on Friday.

Not performing at IIFA Toronto: Abhishek Bachchan

The grapevine was abuzz with news that the Bachchans are patching up with the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), and that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya would perform at the event in Toronto too. But the junior Bachchan has slammed the news.

"Just to clarify... Neither Aishwarya nor I

His father, megastar Amitabh Bachchan had been the brand ambassador of the IIFA awards since their inception in 2000, but last year, Big B couldn't attend the event in Sri Lanka, and the concept of a brand ambassador itself was dropped.

Amitabh had earlier clarified that he would not be attending the event this year too.

"Not coming to Toronto IIFA... IIFA says my services are not required," he had tweeted.

The IIFA weekend is to be held June 23-25.

The father-son always look adorable when they work together. Be it their amusing act in "Kajraare" or serious performance in 'Paa' - audience is treated with good entertainment when they are on one stage. But this time, we tell you, they didn't share the screen space instead shared the mike!


For their forthcoming AB Corp's production 'Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap', Amitabh Bachchan has sung a special track along with beta Abhishek. The peppy track was said to have recorded quite recently and sharing the titbit, Big B quoted on his micro-blogging site - "At home and working out new promo for 'Bbuddah' ... this one with Abhishek and me singing... cool and rocking!!!"

Abhishek showed his singing talent in 'Bluffmaster' by singing the hip-hop number "Right Here Right Now". Later in 'Dum Maaro Dum' he again grabbed attention with "Thayn Thayn". Hmmm, Jr. B is proving to be an all-rounder...

Sources who heard the papa-beta's song from 'Bbuddah' revealed that Abhishek has done a fabulous job. While he has rendered his voice only for a stanza, the rest of the song is sung by Amitabh. However, Abhishek's stanza is considered as the highlight and his voice is said to suit his dad perfectly.

Actress Katrina Kaif may be known for her sex appeal on the big screen and off it too, but the actress simply refuses to believe that she is sexy! It?s confirmed!!! Ranbir and Katrina in Ayan?s next?

Ex or current lovers, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are back together onscreen in Ayan Mukerjee?s next.

Says a source, ?Ayan was going back and forth about who to cast in the film. It was a very difficult period given Ranbir?s relationship with Kat was on the rocks. They were going through a rough phase and it wasn?t clear if they would want to work with each other immediately or take a short break. Ayan?s heart was set on Katrina, but he was also considering options.?

Initiall, buzz had it that either Deepika Padukone or Anushka Sharma would be the leading lady of the project. However, now we learn is that Deepy was never in Ayan?s mind, though she is pretty close to the director.

The source reveals, Ayan wants to make a film with RK and Dippy but it isn?t this one. There was confusion after he told a couple of people at a party that he wants to make a film with Deepika.

Adding that this has been one of the toughest decisions for Ayan, the source says, Anushka would have loved to do the film and had even told friends how excited she was about getting to work with RK. But things didn?t workout and Ayan went back to his original choice Katrina.

Now, Katrina Kaif has been finalised for the leading lady opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Pre-production work for the film will start in the coming months and there will be an official announcement regarding the casting soon.

Akshay?s jaw-dropping stunts in Housefull 2?

Akshay Kumar and danger go hand in hand. This time, the Khiladi Kumar is all set to performs a parachute stunt for his friend Sajid Khan?s comedy film Housefull 2 in London. Akshay will be seen jumping from a great height with a parachute.

?Akshay has never done anything like this before and he?s really excited. I?m cool because I know the greatest stuntman in the country will pull off the shot effectively. I couldn?t have asked for a better first shot,? director Sajid Khan is quoted as saying by a news agency.

?The scene is integral to the story and not just a publicity gimmick. We?ve kept it strictly under wraps because with six cameras stationed on the sets, we want to capture people?s reactions as Akshay jumps down from the heavens above,? Sajid Khan added.

Akshay Kumar is in demand?

Akshay Kumar, who is currently shooting for Housefull 2 in London, had to finish dubbing for Transformers:Dark of the moon too before he left India for his schedule. Lending his voice to Optimus Prime in the Hindi version of Michael Bay?s Transformers 3, has led to Akshay Kumar dubbing for the sci-fi flick in two countries.

As per a sources, though the actor had dubbed for almost the whole film before he left India, there were certain portions of the film that the producers were not willing to bring to India just yet. ?Michael Bay did not want these portions to be dubbed by the local dubbing agents as they are quite sensitive. And since Akshay could not have made it to Los Angeles, they decided to get the required content to London,?

Akshay, who is excited about being a part of the Hindi version of the film, agreed to do the dubbing for a big Transformers series fan his son Aarav.

Franz Osten

Franz Osten was a famous German film director who in association with Niranjan Pal was among the first payers of Bombay Talkies. Franz Osten collaborated with Niranjan on a number of India's previous blockbuster movies like Achhut Kanya and Jeevan Naiya. As revealed, Franz was born as Franz Ostermayr in Munichin the year 1876. The German director trained to be a photographer like his dad and gave acting an attempt. In 1907, Franz founded a wandering cinema termed as the "Original Physograph Company" together with his brother Peter Ostermayr, who later invented the antecedent to Bavaria Film Studios. Franz Osten's silent movies tell multiplicity of Indian tales. 1926 release The Light of Asia contract with the life of Buddha. A Throw of Dice was related to the myths and legends haggard from Indian epic Mahabarata. All these above mentioned films have a say to rise the understanding of eastern religions and offered a banquet for the senses by showcasing elephants in festive decoration along with thousands of extras. His big sets were perfect for evading from reality, etc.

He directed Bollywood movies like Prem Sanyaswhich was released in 1925. Then he made Shiraz released in 1928. Prapancha Pash was released in1929 and the most famous film Achhut Kanyawas released in 1936. The filmmaker died on 2nd December 1956.
