No movie with Salman: Farhan-Ritesh

A couple of days ago, it was reported that Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, after working with Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan, had initiated talks with Salman for a project under their banner. It was stated that Farhan was meeting the actor frequently to discuss various
subjects.

Bring this up, and Ritesh says, ?There is no movie with Salman at the moment. We are in the process of finalising our next set of productions for the year, which includes Zoya?s (director-scriptwriter Zoya Akhtar) next. So to set the record straight, we?re not doing a film with Salman in the lead, although we?d love to.? Farhan confirms he?s met Salman on two occasions and neither of the projects have materialised. Meanwhile, the actor-producer-director admits to have met the superstar socially, due to their old family ties. ?I think I was quoted out of context on the Salman film. I was asked what I thought of Salman?s consecutive successes last year, and I said he deserved it all. Next, I was asked why was I at his birthday bash. This I found ridiculous because we?ve known each other forever and I have no reason to not attend his party,? Farhan says.

He adds that he was asked if he could do a Bodyguard (2011) or Ready (2011) kind of a movie to which he said he couldn?t. ?It?s not my kind of cinema. But I wonder when I ever said I was meeting him for a movie? Being at someone?s house or party doesn?t mean anything.

It?s all concocted,? states Farhan, adding, ?We would love to work with Salman, but that?s if and when we come across a script that suits our sensibilities.?

Havana amazed as Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif shoot on streets

The people of Havana, the capital of Cuba, were amazed to see a man and a lady shooting some action scenes for a Bollywood film. According to reports, the director of the film found it rather easy shooting right in the middle of a street in this city among the regular people.

It wouldn't have been so had the people known the stature of the man and the lady in Bollywood. After all had Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif performed the same scenes in any European country or the US, they would have been mobbed.

Reports say that the two on-off 'lovers' had a great time shooting the scenes of Ek Tha Tiger on the streets of Havana. But they couldn't enjoy the serene beauty of the place as they were required to shoot extensively for over a week.

Directed by Kabir Khan and slated for a mid-August release, Ek Tha Tiger is a spy-thriller shot almost globally.

What are Shahrukh-Gauri's plans for Valentine's Day?

Superstar Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan are considered as the most admired Bollywood couple as they have utmost care, commitment and compassion for each other. Many of SRK fans are curious to know how they are celebrating the Valentine's Day. But the king of romance says that he is superstitious about this special day.

Along with Juhi Chawla, Shahrukh Khan unveiled the new look of his IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders at a press conference held at a hotel in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. When asked about his plans for this V-Day, SRK told Rediff, "I'm quite superstitious about Valentine's Day."

Shahrukh Khan is currently busy shooting with actress Katrina Kaif for Yash Raj Film's forthcoming big-budget movie, which is yet to be titled. The Bollywood actor has reportedly not made any special plans for the V-Day. He is reportedly shooting for the untitled movie in a jail today.

The celebration seems never ending at the Dharma camp, as the good news keeps pouring in. Dharma productions released their valentine's special, EK MAIN AUR EKK TU just a week after the stupendous success of AGNEEPATH. The movie has received a good response overall from all the major critics. Not only that, their movie MY NAME IS KHAN has completed two successful running years on February 12, 2012.

MY NAME IS KHAN has definitely been a path breaker for the Dharma movies. Released in 2010, this movie was one of the highest grossing Bollywood movies, overseas. Starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, this movie became a huge blockbuster and managed to recover all the initial investment of 19 million in just 3 days. The movie has also been a huge hit in the South Asian countries and is still running successfully in a theatre in Hong Kong. Seems, the audience just cannot stop themselves from praising the mind blowing performance of Shahrukh Khan.

On the occasion of the second year anniversary of the movie, director Karan Johar admitted that the movie was a personal favourite of his. Karan on a micro blogging site posted, "MNIK is 2 years old 2day and is still running in a cinema in Honk Kong!!! It's a film that is truly special to me...in many ways..."

After MY NAME IS KHAN, Karan Johar will don the Director's hat again for his movie, STUDENTS OF THE YEAR, slated for a summer release in 2012.

Shah Rukh denies tiff with Juhi

Brushing aside rumours of a tiff between him and actress Juhi Chawla, superstar Shah Rukh Khan says it is the media that creates such pieces and then embarrasses a celebrity with questions about them.

"There is so much tabloidism in the work we do and the unfortunate bit is that some people write it and start believing in it. Then to come back and ask us about something that does not exist is a little odd and embarrassing for us because it did not exist in the first place," the 46-year-old said at an event here.

"It's like the smallest particle of atom they are still trying to figure out. So, when you ask this to me and Juhi, all of us get a little awkward about why you are asking this, this has never been a problem," he added.

Recalling his initial days in the industry, Shah Rukh said that Juhi's family always made him feel at home.

"When I was new in the film industry, Juhi, her mother, her brother and her whole family looked after me and they have been very kind to me. We are very close friends," said the superstar.

"I have told her never to leave my side, even if I misbehave publicly and she has said that even if I misbehave and I am ill-mannered, she will still be friends," said Shah Rukh who has done films such as Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Yes Boss and Duplicate with Juhi.

Shah Rukh is currently busy shooting for Yash Raj's untitled next opposite Katrina Kaif. He is also co-producing Student of Ther Year with Karan Johar.

Amitabh Bachchan is in pain!

Amitabh Bachchan underwent successful back-to-back surgeries for bilateral inguinal hernia on Saturday. All was well till Monday when he suddenly experienced a sever pain. The actor will have to remain in the hospital for longer than expected.

Big B, despite being in acute pain, took to Twitter,
?OK .. ! NOT SUCH AN EXCITING DAY ! Acute pain throughout, but bearing up ..still in hospital and delay now in release,? Big B wrote.

?The frailties of the human body, and the will to resist pain, is unparalleled.. whoever made us the way humans are made us well,? the superstar added.
