Full Disclosure: A stylist tells all.

"People seem to think being a stylist is a glamorous job. It?s actually the most unpaid job, with payments arriving many months after the shoot. Luckily for me, I have a day job and so I refer to it as my little trust fund. The other difficult thing is that you have to do everything: the creative concept, find a photographer, model, make-up artist, location, be on the phone with every fricking PR person in town sourcing clothes, and managing the tempers and needs and fancies of five different people. And if the tiniest thing goes wrong, it?s always ?the stylist?s fault?.
Magazines don?t pay for a thing, not travel or food or anything. Zero. So we have to tie up hotel sponsorships. Get Dior or Armani on board to foot the bill, and give them a cover in return. Most Indian fashion magazines have no voice or vision, just one stale formula: take a Dior/LV dress, add a Bollywood actress, put them in a palace, and there?s your cover. You?ll often find them sporting a random flashy watch?to ensure five pages of ads. And Bollywood actresses can be painful.
You know why you see so many Russian models around? Indian models. They bully younger designers, think too much of themselves, don?t remain in shape, and they have ridiculously long careers despite all this?some of the so-called ?top? models here could be the mothers of the new 16-year-old supermodels abroad.
They?re just not professional. Tamara Moss looks amazing, but she?s amazingly painful to work with?always in her own world, not in a good way. Joey Matthews is not in shape. Jesse Randhawa should give up. Noyonika Chatterjee, well, she was professional, but thank God she?s stopped. Tinu Verghese throws tantrums. Bhawna Sharma and Michelle (Innes) have problems, post-marriage, posing in hotpants and swimsuits. Which is just as well, considering the shape they?re in."

Desi Boyz gets 'A' certificate while The Dirty Picture passed without any cuts

Two big upcoming films, Desi Boyz and The Dirty Picture were examined by the Censor Board this week and the committee's decision has left many astounded. Apparently, the Akshay Kumar and John Abraham starrer Desi Boyz has been given an 'A' certificate while The Dirty Picture has been passed without any cuts.

The makers of Desi Boyz were expecting a U/A certificate since it's a big-budget film with Akshay, John, Chitrangda and Deepika. They feel that the film is made for a family audience and getting an 'A' certificate could cause them a lot of trouble. Akshay and John play male strippers in the film and that could have been a reason for board's decision.

In contrast, the makers of The Dirty Picture were very anxious about the Censor Board's decision as the Censors have been sent a notice by the AP High Court to decide whether the film should be released. To their surprise the film has been passed with an 'A' certificate without any cuts.

Salman Khan, John Abraham rivalry ends?

It seems that long-time Bollywood rivals John Abraham and Salman Khan are all set to turn as friends. Thanks to Big Boss 5 that would bring the duo closer for reconciliation.

John in an exclusive chat with Daily Bhaskar, gave a hint of a patch up with Salman, through his candid talks. John went to heap praises for Salman, when probed about his lack of interest in Twitter. ?I would love to join Twitter, but if I become active, I will be more on the social side. It?s only about using the medium properly. I don?t believe in actors, who just read philosophical quotes and tweet. For me, the most interesting quotes are of Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan,? says John.

Even the Force actor have readily agreed to share the small screen space with Salman, for the promotion of his forthcoming venture 'Desi Boyz' in the upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 5.
