Aamir Khan's Kerala outing

Actor Aamir Khan is currently in Kerala for the promo shoot of Bharat Dharshan ? a project being planned by his own production house. He apparently got super-excited on seeing the famous snake boat used during the boat races in Pulinkunnu in Alapuzha.

Aamir even got into one of those boats when he saw a couple of school children do the same.

The actor also examined the Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi near Kochi, which are in use for the last 500 years, and tried his hand at operating them, sources said. News that Aamir was in town spread like and locals gathered in huge numbers to see the actor. Aamir was apparently taken aback by the huge crowd gathered there because he didn?t expect it at all. A source from there said, ?Aamir was pleasantly surprised when he saw a huge crowd gathered to just meet him. He shot for sometime at the Alapuzha beach and after that played cricket with the kids as well. He was gracious enough to oblige people with autographs and pictures. He even expressed his interest in doing a Malayalam film and said he loved Kerala.?

Aamir also apparently met a couple of engineering college students and interacted with them briefly. He was extremely surprised to see an established engineering college in a small town and told the students that if that if he could help them in any way, in the future, he would be glad to do so, said the source.

Shah Rukh Khan irked with Hrithik's tweet on Gauri

It seems everything is not fine between Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan.

As the grapewine has it, a tweet posted by Hrithik on Gauri Khan has not gone down well with SRK. He has chosen to remain silent but he has reportedly not liked it.

Hrithik posted a tweet a few days ago where he mentioned that there was something afoot with Gauri and that she was all set to give the actresses a run for their money also fuelled thoughts.

The rumours are that SRK has also not liked the advice and the book given to him by Hrithik on how to quit smoking - a book which Hrithik used to kick the butt.

His fans look up to him as an idol, but superstar Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana believes her father isn't the perfect youth icon as he smokes a lot.

"Daughter just reprimanded me... how can u be the youth role model if you smoke. So to all the youths out there... please don't smoke!!" tweeted Shah Rukh.

"Big reprimand for smoking from my strict little atom bomb of a daughter!!!" he added.

The 46-year-old is said to be a chain-smoker but has admitted smoking is the "worst habit".

Amitabh Bachchan gets under the knife!

Bollywood legendary, Amitabh Bachchan is unwell. The actor is diagnosed with abdominal ailment and will undergo a surgery this Saturday.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, bigb.bigadda.com, ?There were some medical procedures today as well, for, and this is being disclosed to the Ef (extended family on the internet) at this point of time, a surgery that I shall be undergoing on the 11th morning. I do not wish to talk much on my medical condition, but trust and faith in my FmXt allows me to do so. The surgery they say is not too complicated, but then all doctors say the same as you end up on the operating table, and before long the details and the subsequent anxieties begin to rise.?

The superstar added: ?There has been a dosage of injections intravenous that began to day and shall continue for a few days .. a pain in the abdomen has to be investigated tomorrow under a CT Scan and then and only then shall the ok for the surgery be given ? so the next few weeks shall be full of nothing else but the hospital and medical bulletins .. boring it may be but it shall be as informative as possible..?

It all began way back in 1982 when Big B?s started complaining and battling abdominal ailments. He was seriously injured while shooting for Coolie. It was a fight scene that led to all this. In 2005 he underwent a bowel surgery.

?My stomach which has already been the bed of many complicated battles in the past, shall have to entertain this as well. Its a war zone , my body, and one which has been through a great deal and still does. I sometimes lament the fact that I do not have the benefit of a complete and ailment free body structure, and I wonder how wonderful it would be to be normal again. But this was my fate and I shall accept it with a smile,? Amitabh Bachchan wrote.

Big B has been advised by his doc to refrain from late-night appearances.

?The doc who looks after me was furious at my late night appearances ? but what does one do .. it is this time of the night or the day when there is freedom and solitude to assuage what I must convey or not. But I do understand his concern and shall abide by it ..? he wrote.

Katrina Kaif shoots underwater!

Katrina Kaif may look soft, delicate and dainty from her outward appearance. But don?t get fooled. This woman is a very strong and a tough stuff.

The actress recently shot for a Slice advertisement in Thailand and guess what? The shoot took place underwater. What?s more interesting is that Kats wrapped up the scheduled 2 days shoot in just a single day, working non-stop for 14 hours.

Says a source, ?Katrina is a thorough professional and hard work doesn?t scare her. The new Slice ad required her to shoot extensively under water and it is quite tiring. She wrapped up two days? work in a day and everyone was impressed with her comfort in water.?

The actress is busy shooting for her upcoming flick with Salma. But, side by side, she is also doing ad shoots.

Katrina talks about her film with Shahrukh!

Katrina Kaif is very excited about her upcoming film with Shahrukh Khan. She has decided to give in her 100 percent and has devoted her major part of 2012 for the film.

The actress talks about her experience on the sets, ?I shot with Shah Rukh for five days before my Ek Tha tiger schedule in Cuba. We had never worked before. And I tend to be a bit reserved on the sets. Shah Rukh has shot several times with Yashji. This is my first. But I was made to feel at home from Day 1. Shah Rukh is very helpful. He is helping me understand my character better.?

Informs a friend of Kats, ?The role requires Katrina to work on her body language. Shah Rukh, who has seen several heroines including Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta transform into Yashraj goddesses, is helping Kat with the same.?
