Why Big B sneaked into his house?
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan wouldn't have thought that he would be compelled to make a backdoor entry into his own house someday.
The first day of the Year 2012 saw a huge crowd gathering outside Amitabh's house Jalsa in Mumbai to see the actor and extend their good wishes and it resulted in traffic jam and he had to make a backdoor entry.
"The family returns from Prateeksha after the Pooja and every car that goes in is received with shouts of recognition... in fact, I have slipped in from the back because the traffic has jammed and I am finding it difficult to enter my own home...," the 69-year-old wrote on his blog bigb.bigadda.com Sunday.
However, Amitabh did come out to meet and greet his fans along with son Abhishek Bachchan, who, he says, was with the family for the entire day after a long time.
"Abhishek has been able to spend an entire day with us after ages - he being flown in every day to different locations for his promotions for 'Players' releasing in a few days on the Friday - a fast paced slick film with some rather picturesque and daring stunts in some of the more remote regions of the world - New Zealand to the North Pole via Russia...well almost !!" he posted.

Shah Rukh Khan hurts ribs during soccer game
Midnight soccer with daughter Suhana proved to be a painful game for superstar Shah Rukh Khan as he hurt his ribs while playing.
"Have hurt ribs. Holiday soccer career nipped in the bud...bah!! Now to indulge in reading & videogames. Hurts only when I laugh or breathe," Shah Rukh wrote on social networking site Facebook.
The actor is holidaying in Dubai with wife Gauri and children Suhana and Aryan, and is enjoying the "luxury of nothingness".
"My lil girl team riding ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles) & shrieking like only girls can, breaking the still of the nite. Nothing happening except just lounging and repairing laptop...the luxury of nothingness," he further posted.

Shah Rukh Khan Agrees To Star In South Remake?
The South remake bug seems to have bitten all the three Khans of Bollywood now. After Aamir Khan and Salman Khan went the 'South' route with Ghajini and Wanted respectively, it now seems that the Badshaah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan also wants to follow suit.
Sources claim that director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali has acquired rights of the 2002 hit Tamil flick Ramanaa and Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly agreed to be a part of the project. It seems that after Rowdy Rathore, Bhansali wasn't too keen on remaking another South flick, but after he saw Ramanaa at the insistence of a friend, he was absolutely impressed with the subject, which has a very strong anti-corruption message and decided to acquire the rights. Moreover, Ghajini director A. R. Murugadoss has confirmed that he will be directing the Hindi remake.
Incidentally, the Tamil film Ramanaa starring Vijaykanth was later remade in Telugu with Chiranjeevi in the lead.

Shahrukh Khan voted the Best Bollywood Actor of 2011
Shahrukh Khan has been selected as the Best Bollywood Actor of the year 2011. The King Khan has beaten his rival star Salman Khan in the year end poll survey conducted by Oneindia. SRK had two big releases like Ra.One and Don 2. Ra.One is the highest grosser of the year.
Thousands of Oneindia readers have cast their votes in Poll Survey for the Best Bollywood Actor of 2011. Shahrukh Khan has topped the list of Oneindia poll with 64.8% of votes. SRK's latest movie Don 2, which was released ten days ago, has been doing well at the Box Office.
Salman Khan, who has a huge fan following, had also two big releases like Ready and Bodyguard and they are also big hits. But Oneindia readers have chosen Shahrukh over Salman, who has bagged 24.7% votes. Akshay Kumar, who had several releases in 2011, has landed in fifth spot, while Ajay Devgn and John Abraham graced third and fourth positions respectively.

Ranbir Kapoor, the new Mr Perfectionist!
Ranbir Kapoor seems to be following Aamir Khan?s footsteps, to becoming the new Mr Perfectionist in Bollywood. We saw his awesome work in Rockstar. Now the actor is busy preparing for his next flick, Barfee. It is heard that the actor has taken over the task of shooting his own close ups in the film from cinematographer Ravi K Chandran.
A source from the sets of the film said, ?Since Ranbir plays a mute character, he needed to get his expressions perfect. Through his eyes and other facial expressions Ranbir needed to convey a limitless range of emotions that go from thoughtful to funny. And to capture the exact expressions at the exact time, Ranbir suggested he operate the camera himself on himself.?
What?s more interesting is that Ravi Chandran, who is known to be a perfectionist in his field, has given this liberty Ranbir.
?That?s because Ravi and Ranbir go back a long way. Ravi shot Sanjay Leela Bhansali?s Black where Ranbir was an assistant. Coincidentally Black was also about a deaf-and-mute protagonist. So Ranbir and Ravi know how difficult it is to get the right expressions on camera at just the right moment,? explained the source.
Director Anurag Basu confirmed, ?Yes, Ranbir shot his own POV (point of view) shots. Since he plays a deaf-and-mute character it was very important for him to get the reaction shots right.?
