In an interview with the Times of India, Akshay Kumar was asked to name the most powerful person in Bollywood and he quoted his name for the title. On being questioned why, Akki said, ?If the tax-paying figure defines the magnitude of power, then probably, I am the most powerful person in Bollywood.?
However, recent reports suggest that Akshay Kumar?s name has regularly been featured on the top in the highest tax-payers list of Bollywood celebs. According to reports, the Bollywood actor earns more than Rs. 100 crores per year and he pays a minimum of advance tax of Rs. 31 crores.

Bollywood sensation Katrina Kaif is preparing to jet in to the UAE this weekend.
In her capacity as Etihad Airways brand ambassador Kaif will launch the Abu Dhabi-based airline's new routes for the summer.
It is not yet clear how long the star will be in the UAE and what she will be doing during her visit.
Although Kaif's last release, Farah Khan's brainless comedy Tees Maar Khan with Akshay Kumar, was considered a huge flop, her item number Sheila Ki Jawani in the film topped the charts.
Kaif was voted the sexiest woman by India's FHM magazine this year having already scooped the accolade in 2008 and 2009, and wrestled back the title from 2010's winner Deepika Padukone.

Superstar Shahrukh Khan will has made plans to organise a special screening of his upcoming superhero flick Ra.One, for friend Hrithik Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan. It is reported that Hrithik has already seen some teasers of the film and has liked it, but Shahrukh wants to show him the final cut with all the sound effects and jazz.
The very first screening of Ra.One will be arranged for Roshan family and Shahrukh family. Just recently, while promoting Ra.One Shahrukh told the reporters that Krrish was India's best Superhero film and Hrithik was an inspiration to him, while he played G.One. "My children love the film and they think that Hrithik is the best super-hero. I too love it and I want him to see my film and give his feedback," (PTI) told, SRK.
"Rakesh Roshan is the most planned director I have worked with. He plans everything before he starts shooting, which is fabulous. There is no confusion when we are shooting. Hrithik is like him, he likes to plan things before he starts shooting. I want them both to see Ra.One soon. It may help them in planning Krrish 3," Shahrukh added.

Bollywood heart-throb Hrithik Roshan, who will be judging 'Just Dance', a dance reality show, says that he is no God of Dance and does not consider himself to be the best dancer in the country.
"I am no God of Dance. I am very happy person that I have become a symbol of dance," Hrithik Roshan told reporters here.
"Apart from that (I feel I am) not the best dancer in the country, city and not even in my neighbourhood. I am just a hardworking dancer," he said.
While unveiling the music video of the dance reality show 'Just Dance', the actor, who makes his debut on television, shook his legs with media persons. The show would go on air from June 18 on Star Plus.
When asked if he finds folk dance or any other form of dance difficult, the actor said, "I find every dance difficult. I start with zero. Whenever I start, I feel I can't do it and then I keep rehearsing."
Talking about his idols in dancing, the 37-year-old actor said, "One of course is the true God of dance - Micheal Jackson and the other one is Shammi Kapoor. He goes beyond steps as his body just moves to music."
On who is the best dancer among actors and actress, the actor refused to name anyone, saying, it is difficult for me to name because if I miss out some name they will feel bad.
'Just Dance' is said to be based on the hit US TV show 'So You Think You Can Dance' and ace choreographers Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant will also judge the show along with the actor.

Actors Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham have finally decided to take their dostana forward. The duo, who have great on-screen compatibility are planning to do a series of films starring themselves. They are planning to brand their pair.
While, Tarun Mansukhani is working on the sequel of the film Dostana, this duo on the other hand have great plans to cash in from their popular pairing. The stars have not yet decided if they will find producers for their films or whether it will be made under their own home production. Presently, they are busy finalizing some scripts for their films.
Abhishek and John are looking for diverse genre of films including rom-coms. John confirms (TOI), "Yes, Abhishek and I have been in talks to bring out a series of films with us starring in it. All films will be of different genres. It's our way of taking the chemistry we share on screen forward. Abhishek is a wonderful guy and I'm very protective and fond of him. I don't like it if people criticise him in front of me. I tell them not to do it."
