Hrithik Roshan?s show 'Just Dance' opens below expectations

Hrithik Roshan?s much awaited debut on TV with the reality show ?Just Dance? has failed to garner impressive telly ratings but is expected to fare better in the coming days and weeks.

According to data released by Television rating agency aMap, Hrithik?s show ?Just Dance? opened with the TVR of 3.1 on Saturday. The rating is below expectations because for the first time Star India telecasted a show simultaneously on a number of channels including Star One, Star Plus and Star Pravah.

Even when compared to other TV shows hosted by Bollywood celebrities, the TVR of ?Just Dance? isn?t impressive. For instance, Amitabh Bachchan?s show ?Kaun Banega Crorepati 4? opened with TVR of 5.0 last year. Even Shahrukh Khan?s flop show ?Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? garnered the TVR of 3.5.

However, not to be ignored is the fact that the opening show of ?Just Dance? focussed on the selection of the contestants. As the show progresses and the competition hots up, the rating are expected to go high.

Well, at least Hrithik Roshan would be hoping so.
