Saif Delight: Kareena's Waxwork Graces Tussauds On His B'day!

An earlier round of conflicting reports hinted that Kareena Kapoor might probably miss the wax privilege of Madame Tussauds. Putting all such tattle to rest arrives the news that Bebo's wax statuette is finally ready. What's even more heartening is that it is likely to grace Tussauds on August 16, 2011 coinciding with Saif's 41st birthday.

As per Tussaud officials, by sheer default the Kareena waxwork may be made public on the Indian Independence Weekend (August 15 -16). The honour ranks her at par with other Indian luminaries such as Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan.

States a close source, "Kareena flew down recently to London to check out her waxwork. Madame Tussauds officials flew down to Mumbai four months ago, took measurements and the formalities were all completed. An event management company that was going to hold their international film awards in June in Canada wanted to hold back the news, but a tabloid leaked out the news."

Kareena, meanwhile, is waiting for Tussaud officials to make the announcement. Close sources squeal that the actress is planning to take her parents, Karisma and niece Samaira, and has reportedly also invited Saif's family to spend the special weekend with Saif and her in London.
