Salman's Cricket League Saga: Sonakshi Steals Shriya's Thunder!

Sonakshi Sinha would like to establish a super stronghold over Salman Khan. And if earlier B'Townies such as Katrina Kaif and Zareen Khan did have a great equation with Khan, Sonakshi would like to have a greater equation with him. Or more appropriately, a sole and if possible, the greatest equation with him.

Any other entity whom Khan favours... meets with swift ire from Sonakshi.

Case in point: Shriya Saran.

Shriya, who boasts of a phenomenal fan following in the South, was appointed as the brand ambassador of a cricket league team headed by Khan, Sohail Khan and South star Venkatesh. A move that Sonakshi, clearly, didn't take too kindly to.

Word has it that Shriya was all set to perform a scintillating number at the finals, until Sonakshi decided to ruin matters for her.

States a close source, "Sonakshi was seated at the dug out of the Chennai team, when it was announced that Shriya would be performing. Precisely at that point, Sonakshi decided to take a stroll along the sidelines and waive at the audience. They clapped and cheered and that took away attention from Shriya's performance. Once Shriya's performance was over Sonakshi left instantly, and the audience was looking out for her."

Adds the insider significantly, "Initially, Shriya was too reluctant to pose for the cameras, but once Sonakshi left, she herself came to the Chennai dug out and posed for the cameras."
