Salman Khan gifts a Mercedes to Raj Babbar

Salman Khan gave a jaw-dropping surprise to senior actor and co-star Raj Babbar earlier this week.

June 23 was Raj Babbar?s birthday, but Salman Khan didn?t get the time to give Babbar a birthday gift as he was busy shooting for brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri?s production Bodyguard in Patiala. The movie has Raj Babbar playing Kareena Kapoor?s father.

The role was originally supposed to be played by Shatrughan Sinha who opted out at the last minute because of his busy schedule. Raj Babbar, who being an MP is no less busy, stepped into the breach on a short notice, and saved the film from getting delayed.

Both Salman Khan and Atul Agnihotri were touched by Babbar?s gesture and had apparently been planning a gift for some time.

What better occasion than Babbar?s birthday! As the belated birthday gift, Salman Khan finally gifted Babbar a Mercedes car. We hear that the car is in Babbar?s favourite silver colour and the number plate also adds up to five, Babbar?s lucky number.

No wonder Raj Babbar was touched by Salman?s special gift.
