MIFTA Festival begins at Ravindra !

Marathi International Film & Theatre Awards (MIFTA) has now become a right platform for Marathi artistes and technicians to prove their mettle. Since last year Producer -director Mahesh Manjrekar and Abhijeet Patil of Raja Rani Travels have together opened this opportunity for them through MIFTA, which first took place in Dubai. This year their award ceremony will be held in London in a big way.


Prior to that MIFTA have organised a week long festival of selected 10 Marathi films and 10 dramas nominated for this purpose. The festival which has opened today at 4 pm with recently released Marathi drama 'Sukhanshi Bhandato Aamhi' at Ravindra Natya Mandir and with a Marathi film 'Sumbran' which was screened at 4.30 pm at P.L. Deshpande Academy's Mini Theatre. This will be followed by another Marathi film 'Gajar' at 7.30 pm in Mini Theatre and with another popular drama Drama 'Aaltun Paaltun' at 8pm in the auditorium. From tomorrow onwards till 21st August the schedule will be as follows:

17th August 2011 :

04.00 pm : Ekach Maaleche Mani (Drama)

07.00 pm : Aaghaat (Film)


18th Auguste 2011:

04.00 pm : Mala Aai Vhaychay (Film)

07.30 pm : Mani Mangalsutra (Film)

08.00 pm : Saare Pravasi Ghadiche (Drama)
19th August 2011:

10.30 am : Balgandharva (Film)

04.00 pm : Priya Bavari (Drama)

08.00 pm : Wah Guru! (Drama)
20th August 2011 :

10.30 am : Taryanche Bait (Film)

04.00 pm : Fakta Ladh Mhana (Film)

04.00 pm : Aadhi Basu Mag Bolu (Drama)

08.00 pm : Nava Gadee Nave Rajya (Drama)
21st August 2011:

10.30 am : Mi Sindhutai Sapkal (Film)
