Deepika Padukone on a happy high

She has finally shifted into her high rise flat in Prabhadevi after waiting for months for it to be ready. Though this pretty girl has come up pretty fast (we?re not talking about the high floor her flat is on but the heights she?s achieved), she is quite grounded and does not get affected by her success.

?My dad always taught me how to be grounded. He told me to work hard. More over, I am fully aware of the industry that I belong to. Ups and downs have to be tackled very carefully. In this industry, if one film flops, we come back to square one. I never believe in letting success go to my head,? she says.

Undoubtedly, family comes first for Deepika. If I am not working,I see to it that I spend most of my time with my family. I immediately travel down South. I relish my mom?s handmade food and I do not like to deprive myself of that when I am there,? she says, laughing.

As much as she loves her family, she also loves her work dearly, which is why she is a workaholic. ?I started modelling at a very early age. Modelling does not come very easily. I had to work very hard at it. I adore my work too and do not leave any stone unturned as far as my work is concerned.?
