Salman Khan, the king of masses!

His latest flick has got mixed reviews from critics, yet Salman Khan ?Bodyguard? hits a whopping Rs 100 cr mark, beating his earlier film Dabanng.

The film has made Rs 86 crore in just the first four days of its opening, in India. And adding the abroad collections, the figure surpasses the Rs. 100 crore mark.

Says Sanjeev Lamba, Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Enetertainment, ?Salman?s super stardom, the special relationship he enjoys with his fans on Eid, the quality of the film, the multi-faceted marketing plan and the wide release have all combined to create a perfect storm.? ?It will be the fastest film to net Rs. 100 crore in India? he added.

Despite getting critical appreciation, Friday?s release, That Girl In Yellow Boots and Bol drew almost no crowd.

The coming Friday would see the release of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, starring Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar.
