These are the core principles of Chicco?s brand new ERGOGYM line which includes Baby Trainer and Baby Jogging, the result of in-depth studies and research conducted by the Chicco Observatory in collaboration with university-based ergonomic experts. An extensive development project which started with the analysis of interaction between babies and the environment they live in.

The new ERGOGYM line includes:

Baby Trainer: A complete gym centre that accompanies babies from the day they are born through to when they reach 9 months of age. A brand new idea: a fitness gym that can be adapted to suit the different growth phases of babies and allow them to play in the most natural position for a whole year. An activity panel with sounds, lights and colours, two pendants and a rattle all encourage babies to move around and play with the toys.

Baby Jogging: An ergonomic baby walker ideal for use from 9 months onwards. The brand new ergonomic adjustment system ensures that babies maintain a natural and correct posture when playing; it can be adjusted to 6 different positions to suit the build of all individual babies as they grow. The handle is specially shaped so that babies can only hold onto it from the front; they also have lots of leg room so nothing interferes with their movements. To accompany babies as they take their very first steps, there is a merry tune which changes speed according to how fast a baby walks; this is important as the toy stimulates both their sense of rhythm and motor coordination skills.
