The earlier version of this song in Don: The Chase Begins was sung by Shaan and that was more sung with more passion but KK sang this casually. Song doesn't sound that powerful. Maybe makers of the didn't want it sound powerful and passionate.
This song is sequel to Main Hoon Don, and the lyrics compliments the earlier version.
