Riding his rocket, revisited!

Ok, I'm convinced now that Ranbir Kapoor, among being other things, is a shameless glutton for punishment. That's the only explanation for sending both his ex-GF's an invitation to his private Rockstar screening last week.

The story goes, Ranbir extended an invite to Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, among his other Knights of the Whiskey Table friends, including actress Anushka Sharma. And as luck karma would have it, all three accepted his invitation and showed up to watch his film! A source close to Momma's Boy said:

"Deepika, Katrina and even Anushka were at the film's screening at Yashraj over the weekend. Ranbir was keen that all his closest friends watch it."

While Deepika and Anushka immediately partnered up and spent the rest of the night comparing notes laughing and joking around, Katrina was said to have remained by herself throughout the night. Duh...it's not like she went there to actually see the film!

Katrina wanted to see the b*tch who stole her man Nargis for herself! Later it was said that Nargis and Katrina had a showdown to see who could f*ck up Hindi the most. The winner got Momma's Boy for the night. We jest, we jest.

A source tells us what happened inside the screening:

"[Ranbir] has always maintained a very cordial relationship with his exes. Deepika recently invited him for her housewarming party as well. As far as Katrina goes, she is someone whose opinion would matter to him as well. There were points during the film where onlookers caught Deepika crying.

However, Deepika and Katrina apparently made sure they didn't cross paths and Anushka acted as the buffer as she doesn't really have any history with Ranbir so she was comfortable. The tension between the other two girls was reduced."

After the screening ended and everyone gave Ranbir a big pat on the pistol back for his performance in the film, he, his wannabe bro Imtiaz, Ayaan, Nargis and some other friends went to party the night away at choreographer Ahmed Khan's house. Deepika, Katrina, and Anushka however, bid their farewell and split!

P.S. Get ready for Ranbir and Imtiaz round 2...States, that is! Now that accolades from the industry have been pouring in for Ranbir and Imtiaz, word is Imtiaz has agreed to step in for Sajid Nadiadwala's film Two States, after Vishal Bhardwaj's sudden departure.
